Map Overlays Disappear After Saving a New Location & Recorder overlay is reset

>Recording Route and following track (do not have to be recording for issue to happen) >Long press on map to bring up the Save Location Dialogue. >Go through process to Save the Location. First Issue >When this dialouge closes, all of the Map Overlays disappear. (((Note: Route was still recording))) I toggled through different saved profiles to try and get the Overlays to reappear, at some point they did. I have later discovered that you can do a Shutdown and re-open DMD Next, then the overlays re-appear. Second Issue: After Map Overlays re-appear... the "Recorder" overlay appears as though it is NOT recording (a red circle with white circle indicating "Start Recording"). You could see that the track is being recorded on the map though. This was confusing. At this point I assumed I was going to probably lose my recorded track to this point. At next stop, I hit the "Start Recording" button, and it began a new recording. At end of trip, I hit Stop Recording. To my suprise there were TWO recordings for the day. It seems that when I hit the "Start Recording" button, it also stopped the original that was already started, and began a new one. Thanks.
