HUB

The DMD HUB is the connected side of DMD2 — sign in and your profiles, GPX, locations and settings sync across every device and the web. It's also where you ride in groups, save your favourite places, and discover routes shared by the community.

Opening the HUB & Signing In

Open Quick Actions (the lightning-bolt button in the map's Section 3 bar) and tap DMD HUB & User Data — its top entry — to slide the HUB in on the right of the map, with the map still live beside it.

The HUB open on the right of the map: a 'Hello' greeting, a 'Your Content Cloud' intro, then GPX Manager, Location Manager and Riding Groups, plus Discover, and 'Last sync: just now'

The HUB opens beside the map — your greeting, the four areas, and the sync status.

Sign in with your DMD HUB account — email and password (with Forgot Password and Sign Up links). Riding Groups and Discover additionally need an active HUB session at ride time, since both are entirely server-driven.

Works Offline

Once you've signed in, the HUB keeps a cached copy of your groups, locations and files, so it still opens and shows your data off the grid — it just flags that it may be out of date until you're back online.

Signing in is per device but ties to one account — sign in on a new head unit or your phone and your whole setup follows you.
A license unlocks the server side of the HUB. GPX Manager and Location Manager work without one — fully offline, on the device: organise your files and folders, save, edit and delete locations, see them as pins on the map and reach them through Location Search → My Locations. What needs an active license is everything that talks to the server: syncing your content to the HUB, Riding Groups, and the public listings under Discover — HUB Locations, Community GPX Files and Signature Tracks. Anything you create while unlicensed is kept locally and uploads on the first licensed sync. Signing in stays available either way, because that is how a license bought on Google Play or tied to your account is restored onto the device; signing in on its own does not unlock the paid areas. The full split is in Free vs. Licensed.

What the HUB Syncs

The HUB greets you with “Hello, <name>” and shows a small sync statusSyncing…, how many items are uploading, and when it last synced. Everything below is kept in step with your account:

Profiles

Your rider profiles and their settings.

GPX

Your tracks, routes and waypoints and folders.

Locations

Your saved favourite places.

Settings

Editable from the web dashboard too.

You can manage the same profiles, GPX and locations from the DMD HUB website — changes made on the web sync back to the app.

Your Content Cloud

The HUB home opens onto Your Content Cloud — everything you create in DMD2 (tracks, routes and places), safe on this device and synced to your DMD HUB cloud — plus Discover for community content:

GPX Manager

Your file browser for GPX files, in sync with DMD HUB — folders of tracks, routes and waypoints. This is the same manager covered in the GPX guide.

Location Manager

Your saved locations, organised into categories and ready to navigate to. See the Locations guide.

Riding Groups

Ride together with live buddy tracking, chat and shared content. See the Riding Groups guide.

Discover

Browse community GPX, points of interest, services, events and Signature Tracks. See the Discover guide.

Explore the HUB Guides

Each area has its own in-depth guide:

The HUB's GPX Manager is the same library documented in the GPX: Tracks, Routes & Waypoints guide.
