Signature Tracks

A Signature Track is a route you know better than anyone, published as the HUB’s premium kind of GPX file: one you keep up to date, with photos, video, your riding notes and an annotation on every track, route or waypoint that matters. Riders collect it, ride it, rate it and report what changed.

Your Signature Tracks

Signature Tracks: Promote a GPX and Reports buttons, the Riders completed your Signature Tracks counters, then a track under Needs your attention with the reviewer's feedback, a draft with Submit for review, and a Live track rated 4.5

Your Signature Tracks, grouped by where each one stands.

The page groups your tracks by where they stand:

  • Needs your attention — sent back by the reviewer, with their Reviewer feedback;
  • Drafts — not submitted yet;
  • Awaiting review;
  • Live — approved and public.

Each row counts how many riders collected and completed it, its comments, its average rating and its open reports. The banner on top, Riders completed your Signature Tracks, adds up completions all-time, this year, this month and in the last 24 hours.

Row buttons: Edit, Submit for review, Withdraw (while awaiting review), Public (its page, once live) and Delete.

Promoting a GPX File

A Signature Track is built on one of your GPX files. Promote a GPX lists your GPX files that are public and approved and not promoted yet (make one public in GPX Files first). Promote this one makes a draft and opens the editor.

The track stays one file: the Signature Track adds its page, media and notes around your GPX file, and edits you make to the route are saved to that file.

The Editor

The editor shows the track’s status at the top — Draft, Awaiting review, Approved & Live or Needs your attention — and is made of sections:

Route & GPX

The source GPX file and its route info, saved to the GPX file: the Public description (shown on the public GPX page), Best time to ride, Difficulty with that vehicle and the Off-road percentage.

Signature Track details

Display title (defaults to the GPX file’s title), a one-line Summary — what makes this ride special? — Riding expertise needed, Time required, Land Management / Authorities notes and Tags.

Community project & donation

Optional: a trail association or project the route supports — its name, website, logo and description, a Donation URL and a message asking riders to give.

Annotations

Per track, route or waypoint notes. Add annotation, choose the feature it is about, give it a title, a text and one optional photo (JPEG, PNG or WebP up to 8 MB). Riders see it on that feature.

Photos & Videos

Photos with captions — Set as cover picks the one on the listing — and YouTube links.

Saving

Save draft keeps your work; Submit for review sends it to the reviewers. Once a track is live, Save changes publishes your edits straight away. While it awaits review, Withdraw it to keep editing.

Review & Points

  • An admin reviews every Signature Track before it goes live. If something needs fixing it comes back under Needs your attention with the reviewer’s note: edit and submit again.
  • An approved Signature Track earns you 10 community points. Points rank riders on Top Contributors.
  • A rider who completes a Signature Track — rides 80% or more of it, within 100 m, navigating with DMD2 — earns 5 points and a Completed award, and can rate it. How far you got on any track you ride is in your Personal Progress.
  • On the public page riders Rate this signature track and Report an issue. Rides → Signature Tracks lists every live one, by newest, most collected, most ridden or highest rated.

Reports from Riders

Reports (at the top of the page, with a red count of open reports) is your inbox of issues riders reported on your tracks — a fallen tree, a closed gate, a washed-out ford — each with the spot it was reported from as a red pin on the map.

  • Three tabs: Unchecked, Acknowledged and Solved.
  • Acknowledge a report you have seen, Mark solved once the track or its notes are fixed, or Re-open it. Add private note keeps a note for yourself; Delete report removes it.

In DMD2

Signature Tracks you collect are in the GPX Manager in DMD2 like any community file (see GPX Manager & Sharing), and riding one with navigation counts toward completing it. Finding them in the app is in Discover.
