Progress tracking - last point on track

Show the last point the user was on when he last ridden a GPX file, this would be part of progress track and a great tool to resume track later.

Is this also available for a route or only for a track? This is because it states a GPX file was driven and is part of the progress of a track.

i just drop a waypoint when i have to exit a gpx iam driving. so easy to backtrack ones i want to resume to follow the track
