Record trip did not reset the trip

Started out on new ride today. Open dmd, map mode, press recorder start from the map Overlay. Prompted which trip to reset, I chose Trip A, and then began my ride. When I finished riding 5 hours later, trio A was still on zero for everything

This was on a Samsung Galaxy X Cove 6 Pro. DMD was in view the entire trip.
As follow up, I did another ride the next day, same conditions/device and it worked as expected.
Thanks for the details, that helped. We found a way this can happen: when Trip Settings → "Only Increment Active Trip" is on, only the selected trip counts. The recorder's "Reset Trip A" zeroed Trip A, but if Trip B was the selected trip at that moment, Trip A then never counted, so it stayed at zero for the whole ride. That would also explain why the next day's ride worked if Trip A was selected by then. In the next update, the trip you reset from the recorder's prompt also becomes the selected trip, so it always counts the ride. If you have a moment, could you tell us whether "Only Increment Active Trip" is on in your Trip Settings? If it's off, we'll keep looking.
