POI settings, major contradiction between urban and remote areas

Submitted by Konsuli  •  #337  •  1d ago  •  updated 2h ago
The idea behind POI distance setting is good, e.g. for cafés or fuel stations, to keep the map view clear enough. But the major issue is the huge contradiction between a need for a large city and for a remote area of the country! e.g. for fuel stations one would need at least 50 or 100 km in remote areas, whereas less than a kilometre might be enough in the capital city. There should be a method which automatically significantly extends the search radius of all POIs when map covers a very remote area of the country with very few inhabitants, and thus very few POIs.
