Progress on gpx fails if device is offline

Progress made tracing a gpx not recorded correctly. I expect the reason is the device being offline. In the pic below, my device went offline at some point and only came back online when I was off the route. Only 79% progress reported. On the previous day, the device went offline too, but I know it came back online just a couple of miles before I completed the ride. And the progress was recorded correctly as 100%. Cheers.

When you followed the GPX which app did you use? DMD2-Next (Android) or the DMD-HUB (ios) ?
