Generic Controller - incomplete setup - add warning notification
Submitted by 54warrior • #175 • Jun 28, 2026 • updated 5d ago
When reconnecting a previously successful connection to my Remotek One controller (battery replacement), I went in to set the controller up again. I don't know if this was entirely necessary or not, and can't repeat/don't remember my exact steps. I do know that the remote wasn't working with DMD Next after this. But it was working in DMD2, and other apps.
Turns out that when I chose NOT to assign the one function to anything on the "keyboard", the app must treat this as an incomplete setup? Once I went back in and assigned that button, the remote started working.
I think there should be some type of warning or alert to let user know this.
Thanks for your help.
