POI's-Add to current Trip/Track

Ability to add a searched POI to the current trip, so that it would appear in the "GPX & Nav Progress" Map Overlay. This could also apply to a "Pin Drop" type of POI for just a location (Example 2 below)
Example 1) I am following a track and a person decided that we need to stop at a scenic spot or possibly a new restauarant. So I search for it, there is the option to "Save Location" and "Navigate" to.... but we are still 65 miles away from there and we'd like to just continue on the same planned Track, but also get notified on the device that it is approaching. An "Add to Current" or the like would be cool.
Example 2) Need to add a Waypoint to Current ride to remind me of a detour we found out about and instead of going straight up here, i need to make a left at certain intersection. It would be amazing if that waypoint could come up in the Nav Progress.
