Auto Zoom delaying the zooming in after manually zooming out

I have the Auto-Zoom feature activated, it has been working good. But when I want to zoom out while riding with the buttons on the Norte, it doesn’t let me do that. It directly jumps back in. Jumping back in is good, but would be nice if it doesn’t do that after instantly but a longer period of time.
