How do I export a recorded GPX file?

DMD2 App Updated Aug 18, 2026

Recordings are saved to the My Recordings folder in your GPX library.

  1. Tap the GPX button in the bottom menu while the Map section is active. This opens Loaded GPX Files.
  2. Tap the red record-dot button at the bottom of that panel to open the GPX Recorder. (You can also reach the recorder from Quick Actions.)
  3. Tap My Recordings. Recordings are auto-named by date and tidied into monthly folders.
  4. Tap the recording you want.
  5. Tap SHARE FILE, then pick where it goes in Android's share sheet.

Cloud storage such as Google Drive is a good destination — it is easy to reach again from any device. If you would rather send someone a web link than the file itself, use Share Link next to it.

With a license, recordings also sync to your DMD HUB account, so you can review or rename a ride later from the HUB website without exporting anything. On a new device, Download All From Server in My Recordings pulls them back down.

See My Recordings & Sync.
