GPS Accuracy Issue Causing Incorrect Distance Measurement

Dear Team,
I'm using the DMD2 App and i have noticed that the GPS accuracy never seems to get below 10 meters, especially when traveling at speeds above 100 km/h. This does not appear to affect the map positioning itself. However, the problem is that once the reported GPS accuracy exceeds 10 meters, the ODO stops counting distance.
As a result, during longer motorway rides, the odometer may only record 10-20 km instead of the actual distance traveled, for example 100 km.
Therefore, I would kindly ask you either to improve/fix the GPS accuracy handling or to remove the 10-meter accuracy threshold. The speed is always measured correctly, and other tracking applications running at the same time also record the traveled distance accurately. This suggests that the issue is not caused by the device itself.

I'm experiencing what appears to be the same GPS accuracy issue on a Samsung Galaxy Tab Active3 running DMD² 4.042.
The tablet typically reports GPS accuracy between 8–16 metres, compared with 2–6 metres on my Android phone.
When tablet accuracy deteriorates to approximately 16 metres or worse, both the DMD speedometer and trip meter stop updating, even though the position marker continues moving normally on the map. Both instruments resume updating when GPS accuracy improves.
I reproduced this during a ride on October 31, 2026, so the issue appears to persist beyond the reported 4.040 fix.
Is DMD² rejecting GPS updates above a fixed accuracy threshold? If so, could this threshold be made configurable, or could the filtering be relaxed for speed and trip-distance calculations?
There is no longer a visible Filter GPS Accuracy setting in Global Settings on my installation.
