Make trip computer count over all profiles

The trip computer is now linked to specific profiles. Not good. When traveling, I keep a daily log (Trip A)—resetting it every day—and an overall log (Trip B).
As soon as I switch to a different profile (e.g., switching to "Offroad"), the overall statistics become completely inaccurate.
This is a real shame, as profiles are otherwise a fantastic feature for switching between map settings. Now, I have to manually adjust the map every time, which is really annoying.
