Non DMD2 device: I paid for DMD2 plugin but it asks me to buy again, why?

Please notice this is only valid for Google Play Store - DMD2 in-app purchases and subscriptions. Valid only for non DMD devices.
This FAQ is related to purchasing a plugin and after the purchase DMD2 still asks you to buy the plugin.

The most common issues we have seen are:

A) You pressed "Buy Plugin" for a plugin which was not the one you intended! Basically, to buy the map plugin, you need to actually be in the map view screen! The same way that to buy the Roadbook plugin you need to be in the Roadbook view screen. Each paid app section (Map / Roadbook / OBD) has its own "Buy Plugin" popup that, when clicked, initiates the purchase for the active view.

B) Your bank or credit card issuer automatically refunded the purchase. This is very common, a series of banks and credit card issuers have adopted policies where purchases in app stores above a certain value are automatically refunded. To actually check if your purchase was processed you can go to the Play Store app in your device, tap on your profile icon (top right corner), tap on "Payments & Subscriptions" and then you can check the active Subscriptions and your "Budget & History".

C) You have multiple accounts in your device! When there are multiple google accounts in use on a single device, sometimes Play Store purchases get assigned to one account but when an app like ours requests purchase status the Play Store will reply with the purchase list from the other account. We usually recommend having only one logged in account before making the purchase!

Conclusion:
- Check if the purchase was validated and not refunded, you can check this in Google Play Store app under your profile. If your bank is automatically refunding the purchase, use another card or contact the bank.
- Check if you have multiple accounts, if you do, remove one of the accounts, if the purchase is placed with the wrong account you will need to get a refund in the Google Play Store and make the purchase again.
- Contact us for help, although we are very limited in what we can do, payments and subscriptions are managed by Google Play Store, if you provide a purchase ID (which is the ID you get from Google Play Store when you get the purchase confirmation email) we can check the purchase status and even force a refund if required.
