Why are my map downloads stuck or not starting?
There are three common causes for map download issues:
Internet Issues - The internet connection is slow and/or unstable. In this situation it is recommended to try again once you can connect to fast WIFI network and download or update one map at a time. Typically the download will complete but it can take a long time depending on the quality of the connection.
Insufficient storage space - In this case you will need to free up storage space by removing other apps or user files, you can also consider deleting DMD2 maps for countries which you do not need anymore (if you have any).
DMD2 app lost access to storage - We have seen cases where after system updates, DMD2 can no longer access the device storage, to sort this we recommend doing a "clear storage", check how to do it here.
Extra rare case:
Missing Storage Unit - This would happen only for users with SD Cards, we do not recommend using SD Card due to how fragile they are, if DMD2 looses access to the SD Card and you have selected to use an SD Card for map storage in the app settings, make sure the card is inserted and working correctly.
