Security Nuts
Screw in the lock nut all the way down and ensure that there is still a minimum of 5 thread count on the tire valve for the sensor unit to be screwed on. If there is insufficient thread for the tire sensor, it may lead to air leakage (a solution for this would be to change the tire valve to one with a longer thread).
Next, screw in the tire sensor unit until it is reasonably tight. Then use your finger to unscrew the lock nut outwards (i.e. anti-clockwise) until it pushes against the bottom of the sensor unit. Use the wrench to tighten the lock nut.
Hold the valve stem with one hand and tighten the lock nut with the wrench on another hand. This is to avoid the valve from twisting making it unable to tighten the lock nut.
WARNING: Do not apply too much force to tighten the lock-nut. You may face difficulty to loosen the lock nut.
Included Metal Valves
The included metal valves are for tubeless tires only! Use them in case your valve is angled or too short.
Additional Information
Type of battery and lifespan:
Sensor uses coin cell battery CR1632, which can last up to 1 year with standard use and within the specified operating temperature.
Is the battery replaceable or rechargeable?
The battery is user replaceable but not rechargeable. User can easily replace the battery without using a tool.
What is the maximum pressure which the sensors can measure?
Sensors can measure maximum up to 116 psi (800 Kpa).
What is a sensor weight?
Sensor weight is only 7.6g (inclusive of CR1632 battery).
Can the sensor detect slow and fast leak?
Yes, sensor can detect slow and fast leak.
Will this fit on my bike?
Sensors are compatible with Schrader valve, which are almost universal on bike tires. Please check the physical dimensions of the sensor to ensure sufficient clearance between installed sensor and any part of the bike.
Is the sensor waterproof?
Yes, the sensor is waterproof (IP57).

DMD2 Settings Screen.
Besides sensor selection, you can also access the advanced TPMS Settings screen where you can setup things like:
Switch between 2 wheel and 4 wheel mode
Add a persistent sensor information to the top status bar
Configure Low Pressure Alarm
Configure Slow Leak Alarm
Reset Sensors
The setting is available in Global Settings (cog wheel in the bottom menu) > "Accessories Settings" > "TPMS Sensor Settings" or by simply tapping on the vehicle icon in the widget.

The most common issues for sensors not showing in the search dialog are a dead battery or the valve tread was not enough to trigger the sensor pin.
In the case of a dead battery a simple battery replacement will fix it.
In the case of not enough tread in the valve, try installing the sensor without the security nut to see if the extra thread is enough.
To force a sensor to go into discoverable mode you can do the following:
Slow unscrew the sensor from the valve, the air pressure difference should force the sensor to broadcast
Remove the sensor battery, wait 1 minute, reattach the battery, start the dialog in DMD2 again.
